Dear Devotees,

The second three months have gone by quickly. In April we celebrated Ugadi, The Tamil New Year and Vishu. We also celebrated Rama Navami in a grand manner with Seetha Rama Kalyana and Pattabhisekam. In May we celebrated Mother’s day with a cultural show, food, and a bazaar. Happy belated Mother’s day wishes for all mothers. We also had Samoohika Saraswathi Pooja which included all the graduating students and their parents. Congratulations and best wishes to all the graduates. We also had Medha Suktha Homam. Additionally, we had a graduation celebration for our Vidya Mandir students. As usual, Dr. Bhat and his team did a superb job. Congratulations to all of the students. The cultural committee had sponsored a vocal concert by Sri Sikkil C. Gurucharan.

In June we did not have many events going on at the temple, except the Srinivasa Kalyanam.

In the temple premises there is a lot of work going on. We already filled the pond which was located behind the priest quarters. We still have not heard from INS regarding Sri Mankikandan’s visa status. We are praying for his quick return.

I want to wish a happy summer holiday and happy journey to those of you traveling over the next few months. As always, I want to ask for your help in running the temple smoothly. If you are already doing so, I want to thank you on behalf of the Shiva Vishnu Temple board of trustees.
